Fratelli is Sicilian for brothers. We are family owned and operated, Giuseppe, Giuliano, Corinna, Georgia and Gennah Grimaudo. Together we join forces to feed the friends who share our love of fine fare, fair prices and beach frivolity. Come and share in our global inspired Italian cuisine. With our Sicillian heritage as our inspiration, our menu is  based on, but not limited to Italian fare. With the Coral Sea salt in the air, the rainforest on our doorstep, our menu is Tropical imbued Meditteranean, offering a world of taste in our corner of the world.

Head Chef Sam Vecchio (who formerly owned and ran La Marina in Port for 20 years) is our chef of choice to share our passion. And he's a Sicillian fratello too!


 Fratelli opened on the 24th of February 2011 on the site of the Original L'Unico and by the original owners of L'Unico. Check out the old photos on display on your next visit.

We are open 7 days - 5.30pm til late for Dinner, Coffee from 4pm, and breakfast and lunch on Weekends and Public Holidays. 

Breakfast: 7-11:30am (Weekends and Public Holidays)
Lunch: Noon -3:00pm (Weekends and Public Holidays)

Licensed and BYO, so book your beachside table, grab a friend or two and leave the rest to us.

Fratelli Trivia: The 3-legged creature is a mythical symbol of Sicily called the Trinacria. 
The word or term trinacria means triangle, as for the shape of Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean. The Greeks called the island trinakrias; the Romans called it Trinacrium, meaning star with 3 points. The Greeks circumnavigated the island in the 3rd Century BC, noting its 3 capes, Pelloro, Passeo and Lilibeo. Today it is called Sicily or Sicilia in Italian.
